  Try googling Medicaid Waiver Volusia County Assisted Living Facilities and call the ALF's that accept the Medicaid Waiver. Perhaps they can guide you through the process. I recall there is usually a waiting list for Medicaid Waiver applicants. Perhaps the COA has someone on call during the weekend also who can offer guidance.(386) 253-4700 is the last ph # I have for COA. Best of luck to you as I have been jumping through similar hoops for years for my parents also. (Medicaid for dad, ALF for mom.) I know Woodland Towers in DeLand has a few Medicaid Waiver apts.   OK, so I need some help and/or advice please. I needs to find an agency or organization or something similar that specializes (or has a division) in helping senior citizens. It needs to be in the Daytona Beach / Volusia County area. The closer to Daytona Beach, the better. Help with finding part time work, help with perhaps sharing housing and help with perhaps finding some sort of counseling, therapist to talk to. It must be at very low of little cost. I know some of my friends here are involved with Elder Care. I don't want to put too much out here on FB, but if you message me privately, I can give you more info on the situation.
