  It's snowing & while taking my boys out for a walk I found this little snowball curled up, cold & wet on my wood deck. I brought it in, dried it off, gave it some yummy food & had to call animal control since it has no tags only 2 red flea collars. I don't know the sex since I only have use of 1 arm & it was challenging enough to pick up this scared little puppy. If you know any one in the Bishops Lodge/Camino Encantado/Circle Drive area of Santa Fe who may have lost their baby, have them call Santa Fe Animal Shelter at 983-4309, ext. 606.

  I'm a disabled Vietnam Veteran on a fixed income, I have a little female Chihuahua that's around 4 years old that was given to me & I have limited funds to pay for her to be fixed, I learned after she was given to me that she hasn't been fixed, poor thing I'm afraid that a stray around here in my area of Penasco will get her pregnant, I have to stay a her side when I let her out to go potty more so when she's in heat. A big dog could kill her if she got pregnant by one of them as you can figure. If anyone knows for sure of a Veterinarian in Taos that could give me a partial break on the price it would be great. I've never had a female dog that needed to be fixed & I have no clue in how to go about this on cost & what all. God Bless
