  Hello! My wife and I are looking to adopt a younger dog, not necessarily a puppy. We went to the Lakeville Animal Shelter and it looked deplorable. Does anyone have any good suggestions on where to adopt from? We are not interested in websites that ship up dogs from the south. We would prefer to adopt a "rescue dog" from a local shelter or adopt one whose owner can no longer care for them. We are not looking to buy from a breeder. Any suggestions would be awesome!
