The people at the Taunton Animal Shelter are wonderful. Have adopted from there 3 times. The facility isn't a showplace, but they care for their animals, and they will give you an honest evaluation of their doggies and whether any one is a good match for the furever home you offer. http://awos.petfinder.com/shelters/tauntonshelter.html

Lakeville Animal Shelter does great work, they have one of the highest adoption rates out of area towns. Shelters ship their overflow to Lakeville and then they get them adopted. The sad fact is no shelter is pretty ...:-/
