  Concrete is great but not everyone loves it so I would say for resale purposes stick with wood which is truly timeless. Out of all my new construction clients in the last 15 years, I've only had two stained concrete clients (one just recently in old t own here in Georgetown). Most of my clients want wood and then many go with tile simply because they can't afford the wood.
