Does anyone have any suggestions for a vet with fair spay prices and good service? I got my estimate from my vet ive been going to and the estimate seems really high and my cats are still pretty young, like 4 months. Ive heard mixed things with the mcknight vet and i have an experience there and it was overall good. My parents recommend the Dalhousie vet because they treat the animals really good apparently. They take their dog there and say they prefer them for that reason. I want some other fellow Calgarian pet owners suggestions too though

Not assuming this applies to you, but for low income earners this is a good free program through the city: [https://www.calgary.ca/csps/abs/animal-services/no-cost-spay-neuter-program.html](https://www.calgary.ca/csps/abs/animal-services/no-cost-spay-neuter-program.html) Low cost clinics: Deerfoot South Spay, Neuter and Wellness Clinic: [http://www.spayneutercalgary.ca/](http://www.spayneutercalgary.ca/) Calgary Pet Wellness and Spay/Neuter Clinic: [http://calgaryspayandneuter.ca](http://calgaryspayandneuter.ca/) [https://www.meowfoundation.com/](https://www.meowfoundation.com/) also has programs, but it looks like some are frozen for the time being.
Kitten spay recommendation Hi all,
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive vet clinic/hospital (preferable NW) for spaying a kitten? Thanks.

[Calgary Spay & Neuter Clinic](http://calgaryspayandneuter.ca) Edit to add: I found their prices for my two dogs much more affordable than any other vet within our just outside the city.
Lower Cost Vet Services? Simple question. I’m looking for find a reasonably priced vet in Calgary. Any ideas?
I find so often veterinary services are incredibly expensive. I love my cat but I’m also a student and trying to work within a budget.
Any and all suggestions welcome! Thanks :)

[Calgary Spay, Neuter, and wellness ](http://calgaryspayandneuter.ca/) was half the price of local vets and they were so great to deal with.
Are there any veterinarians in Calgary helping out with cat neutering? We had an appointment for it in Fort Mac, but obviously it's not going to be there anymore. We would like to get it done asap (as planned) so that he doesn't start doing un-awesome male cat things lol.
Any suggestions for getting a young male cat fixed (cheap!) ?

Hi Gloria, you can try the Meow Foundation (SNAP) program which is for low income (403-230-6033) or The Calgary Wellness Spay and Neuter Clinic which offers reduced pricing (403-569-7387) - hope that helps. Have a great day.

Hi, this isn't exactly dog related but I figured this would be a great place to get answers! My boyfriend has a 5 month old kitten that we are wanted to get neutered soon. Does anyone have a good vet that they would recommend for this? He is wanting to find a vet clinic that will charge a reasonable/ low price of possible!
Thanks

The vets here are fantastic, I have used them a lot for my fosters and I know them well. They definitely have a lower than average price for spays and neuters - that's the whole point of the clinic! http://calgaryspayandneuter.ca/
