NJ cool collection (#1) - Restaurants Hi fellow NJ’iens,
How about we help each other discover the nuggets of our states?
I thought we would have a couple of these posts to collect them by topic.
Hoping for some help :)
Topic number one - Food/Restaurants:
Do you know that type of place that’s a local institution? Some place that’s been open for 50 year (or 20, or 100) that only sells one thing, the same way, and does it best you’ve ever had?
Do you know of any themed one? An amazing scenery one? A place that once a year/month/week has a special day/night with a book we have to try?
Really open to any suggestions but am trying to shy away from JUST A GOOD RESTAURANT kind of a thing. Looking for the staples.
Thanks!

Best “fish & chips” (or any fried seafood actually) I’ve ever had in the world: Keyport Fishery. It’s the freshest, most simple place that preps everything in the same way and it has a small boardwalk next to it where you scuff it down with a view of the city. Details: Keyport Fishery 150 W Front St, Keyport, NJ 07735 (732) 264-9723https://goo.gl/maps/wD7FUdoLKddcGTNU8
