  Hi expats! I need recommendations on a good dermatologist. I've had what's supposed to be atopic dermatitis or eczema for my whole life. While growing it became way better but lately is been the other way around, and it's just focused in my hands, what does not let me do my daily and professional duties normally... And it's really annoying! Back in Spain I went to many different dermatologists but never found the magical solution, just creams that 'mask' it but won't heal it. I don't know wether it's immune, allergic, heavy metals, food, due to stress, a mix of all... But I'd like to try a new doctor again! Anyone could recommend a good dermatologist that likes challenges?

  For those with atopic dermatitis also known as atopic eczema pls do some research on the effects of steroid creams aka corticosteroid. One major effect is that you become addicted to it and keep getting cream after cream after cream. You can google red skin syndrome or look at Itsan.org or red-skin-syndrome.com for more informatioN. Also don’t hesitate to ask me questions as my daughter went through it 5 years ago and now is healed

  Hi Canberra Mums My son is 6 months old and has eczema. On his back, legs, arms, tummy and face - so pretty much everywhere. He stared getting flare ups around 3 months but not this bad. I have literally tried everything! I've had countless appointments with the doctors and he has finally given me a referral for us to see a pediatrician but we can't get seen until May! I've been doing a process of elimination and tried changing his formula which led to him having a really bad reaction. I'm pretty much at wits end, I just feel helpless for him, he scratches his face and I feel like he is loosing his little spark. Just wondering if anyone has tried a bleach bath and just wanted to know how their little one went?

  Dear all, need some advice and guidance here. My father, who is in his 70s, is having serious skin problem. He has been suffering itchiness and red patches on his whole body. Over the pass 2 year, doc has been giving him jabs that can relieve the itchiness for 25 days. Then later the jab lasts for 20 days, and now only 10 days. The red dots and patches has appeared more on his body and the itchiness is bad. Any idea why it is happening? Doc said is because of old age. Any recommendations on doctors or food to take or avoid? My father has bern using baby products now, but still the same.
