  I really like Southern Fresh in Safety Harbor just off of Main St. It takes a while for them to cook it as they do that dish fresh while you wait but it's worth it. It's not heavily breaded like the old school style but damn crispy and delicious just the same. Sides are real mashed potatoes, green beans and few other items Their menu is fairly small but what they do there they do it well.I love the option of dining outside by a wonderful gas fireplace on chilly nights. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Southern-Fresh/241776482611782

  My husband & I were there at Southern Fresh on Sat night Aug 30. We didn't have a reservation, they were able to seat us with no wait. My husband had the blackened red fish & I had the fried chicken. We had sides & both had a house tossed salad, was fresh, chilled & good. A must place to enjoy. They're open for lunch & dinner. And have outdoor seating, too. Phone number 727 216-6341. I think they are closed on Mondays. Give them a call.

  Southern Fresh in Safety Harbor. Small & quaint place. Excellent food & service..Address is: 122 3 rd Ave N, Safety Harbor FL. They are at the corner of Main St & 3 rd Av N. The post office is across the street. Excellent homemade desserts & sangria too..
