I highly recommend Quality Appliance Service, out of Bound Brook, 732-469-0909. I had used George's Appliance for years, and one Friday around noon on a Memorial Day Weekend, my washing machine stopped working. I had a very sick dog who couldn't walk, was on prednisone (causing frequent urination), and I was washing his bed and the throw rugs under his bed all day long every day. I NEEDED my washing machine. I called George's, explained my EMERGENCY situation to them, but was told the earliest they could come was Tues., 4 days away! I started calling other app. repair companies in the phone book (remember those?), and no one could help me -- it was a holiday weekend remember. Then I called QUALITY APPLIANCE SERVICE -- the receptionist asked me to hold. She was gone for a few minutes. She came back on the line, and said, "Rich, the owner, can be there by 1:30 this afternoon. Would that be okay?" "Okay?, that would be wonderful, fabulous, awesome!," I said. Rich, the owner came and fixed my washing machine, and while he was there, my very sick, very protective-of-me male Dachshund, who didn't like anyone coming into his house, DRAGGED himself into my laundry room. He lay on some sheets that were waiting to be washed, while Rich worked on the washing machine. Not a peep (growl) came out of Skipper's mouth, where normally he would have been barking and growling -- it was as if Skipper knew Rich had come to help him. Anyway, this is a long story, but my relationship with Rich and Quality Appliance Service was cemented after that.
