We brought the kids to The Great Wolf Lodge here in Traverse City. Any recommendations for good restaurants in the area? This lodge is smaller than the others and it doesn't have the bigger restaurant.

We love north peak brewing company, amical (French), red ginger (Asian) and for casual food grand traverse pie company. Mission table on the peninsula is wonderful too. Have fun!!
Hey Michiganders, can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in Traverse City, or the TC area? I want a classy or fun joint to take my girlfriend out for her birthday. Thanks.

[North Peak](http://www.northpeak.net/np.html) has great food and great beers. If you want some awesome burgers (and a good selection of beer), head on over to [Bubba's](http://www.tcbubbas.com/index.html). For a bit more class, you can always check out the places downtown like [Amical](http://www.amical.com/), [Red Ginger](http://www.eatatginger.com/), or [Poppycock's](http://poppycockstc.com/). I've never been to Amical or Red Ginger, but I've never heard anything bad about them either.
