  Eric, Elgin Santa at the Elgin Tree Lighting Saturday, December 5 th 2015 Time: 5 pm - 6 pm City Hall Plaza Elgin, IL 60120 (Downtown Elgin) (847) 531-7056 www.cityofelgin.org Cost: FREE SANTA EVENT Santa doesn’t come in on a sled, no it’s a fire truck Elgin’s annual lighting the huge tree. There will be a jazz band playing holiday music starting at 3:30 pm, plenty of things for the kids to do, as well as visits with the big old guy in the red suit.

  For summer camp and drop in playground information check out the Parks and Recreation Summer Brochure. It's is on line at www.cityofelgin.org or you can pick up a copy at many city facilities. A wide variety of camps are offered as we'll and drop in playground locations with the lunch program at 5 different park sites throughout town.
