  You can refer to page 28 "Vehicle Requirements" in the Safari Newspaper: http://www.rr4 w.com/online-mag.cfm IMO as long as you are obeying the law and look like you are going/coming to/from a trail you should be OK, but if you are pulled over expect to get written up for no rear tire coverage.
