  To find a fully trained acupuncturist, go to someone that is an L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist.) Their training is much more in depth than that of an M.D. or chiropractor that is allowed to do acupuncture with much less training due to their medical or chiropractic licenses. And for goodness sake, don't get acupuncture or "dry needling" from a physical therapist. Their training is very minimal and can present safety issues. I'm an L.Ac. in Phoenix.
