  Hi, My family resides in Florida and we are looking to expand and explore other options in reenacting such as Revolutionary War (Civilian Impression) in the future. We have a large setup that includes a wall tent, fly and great wedge tent that we have used just for civil war for years. 1. Are there in other civil war reenactors that have expanded out of just the civil war era and started doing other era's as well? 2. Can you use Civil War tents for revolutionary reenacting as well? 3. Could someone point us in the right direction as far as civilian clothing is concerned for Revolutionary time period? I know Fugawee has the correct shoes as that is who we use for our period correct footwear. 4. Is there a Revolutionary facebook group that someone could suggest where I could get more information. 5. What are some of the closest revolutionary war reenacting events to Florida? Thank you

  I can recommend J. P. Ryan's patterns. Her woman's basic wardrobe is a good place to start. You can ad to the basic pieces once you have purchased or made a pair of stays.
