  Hilary Jane, our beloved Fluffy passed on Monday. I'm so very sorry for what you are facing. I know too well how difficult it is. Kary Walters was recommended to me by Jennifer Bond who just had Caring Pathways come to her home. She said she was very compassionate. We unfortunately never made it to the euthanasia as he died in my arms before I could call them. I do however want to recommend the Cremation service we used. They were so amazing with my family. They are family owned and the father of the owner did our cremation and was so caring to my very upset son. He took personal time to comfort him. It was less expensive than the vet services, we were able to take him there ourselves (although they will come to you) and we were able to say goodbye one last time. It meant the world to us, and he is now home forever until we see him again.   Does anyone have a recommendation for a mobile vet or one that makes house calls? Or have you had a positive experience with a local vet who helped your pet pass over? We have a sweet, sweet kitty who is approaching end of life at 16.5 years old. While the vets at Petsmart have taken great care of him over the years, it's a noisy, nerve racking place for a cat. (I apologize for this morbid and sad topic.)
