  Our almost 8yo yellow lab girl Georgia has to have ACL surgery. We got a quote today for about $4000, that is including anesthesia and what not. We live in Chesapeake and went to Greenbrier Vet. Do any of you have recommendations for anywhere a little less expensive? We just had a baby in April who was in CHKD, so we have a lot to budget. We will get the surgery no matter what just looking for recommendations in the area. I know ACL tears are a common lab accident. Thanks for any info!

  Any recommendations for pet insurance? I took my 2 dogs to the vet today for their annual checkups, vaccines, blood work, etc. and a supply of their heartworm and flea and tick preventative and came out $858 lighter. Ouch! And I have to take the kitty in a couple of weeks. Trying to see if I can mitigate the cost somewhat. Thanks!
