  Ashley, I have used Howell Tree service several times. I had them trim the dead wood on some Tall Oaks and on two separate occasions, took down 30'-40' poplar trees. Kind of sad, I loved their shade, but didn't know they were short lived when we planted them. The last poplar was taken down with stump removal. Neat and clean under $500. The owner, Dennis was a happenstance meeting, doing work in the neighborhood. He is an arborist and did the trimming of the Tall Oaks same day. He is honest to the core, his workers are kind. I can't say if the price will have increased since July 2011, but I trust this company. Howell Tree Service, 614/268-3716. You can mention my name and Tall Oaks Dr in Gahanna.
