My dog has seizures and is on medication, but lately has been having them more frequently. I need a recommendation for a good vet. I want to get a second opinion.

I would take him to a neurologist if you haven't done so already. http://www.nfneurology.com/
Can anybody recommend a veterinarian who specializes in neurological issues for a cat?

UF is expensive. They all are. To me, no sense in driving that far when you won't save anything. I went to North FL Neurology, 269-7070. Though I have been to UF as well. Care Credit is a credit card for medical expenses only. Each clinic has a different agreement with them so you need to ask a) if they accept it and b) what their plans are. Most offer 6 months regardless of the amount charged and usually 1 year for anything over $1000. There is no interest or fees during that time. It's up to you to calculate your payments for that period and be responsible if you want to pay it off in that time and thus pay no fees. In other words, it can be a way to create a payment plan if you are responsible with it. If you don't pay it off in the assigned period, the interest can be as high as 30%. It has been a life saver for me and my animals.
