  Hey mommy friends, I'm looking for pediatrician recommendations in the West End area. Open to any suggestions. (Update day #6 - Baby Delaney and I are hanging out still. She is in no rush and still on track to grace us with her presence in mid-December. Nurses and doctors are wonderful, so we are in excellent hands. Kylie and Piper visited yesterday and might visit other patients on the floor next time they're here. Both nurses and doctors fell in love!)

  Dr Lora Christian is Abbie's dr. She is great and we had been given her name by several of Abbie's NICU nurses. She works at the same practice as dr terry, dr disilva and the practice is large enough to always feel supported and they have sat hrs too. Great practice. They have several office locations.   We love Dr. Terry, Dr. Rowe, Dr. de Silva, and have pretty much have seen every doc and nurse practitioner in this practice. They have 3 offices around town. Docs follow you wherever you want to go. (They rotate). Best thing about them are the walk-in and weekend hours. http://www.vapeds.com/

  We see dr.terry (vapeds.com) there is 3 locations the one we go to is at midlo/288 near dongs karate. I can't say enough good things. All the docs there are nice so even when we don't see him Im pleased. They are so good!

  We went to ped associates for a while. i personally liked every doctor there. i had an extremely tough baby who screamed 10-12 hours a day. none of the drs helped me much. i ended up coming up with a diagnosis on my own and went to an allergist one my own. we got some answers. all of the doctors i saw at ped assoc. kept telling me "babies that age don't have allergies" (he was allergic to approx 23 foods). we are now with dr. charles terry and his group va peds. as soon as i took my son there they immediately starting doing testing to find more answers. unfortunately he was almost 4 but i am so grateful that they took the initiative to help me figure out my sons digestive problems. i of course became resentful that the other practice didn't offer to do anything. however i do have lots of friends who take their children there and are very happy. i just think we may have slipped through the cracks. ....i would suggest dr. terry and dr. rowe with va peds. www.vapeds.com
