  I understand plumbers are expensive. To me they are worth it because I loathe fixing nasty plumbing issues. But sometimes you get a bill and you do a double take. I recently hired Rotor Rooter to unclog a pipe that I could not fix myself. It cost me $350. Maybe that's a standard rate? After all they have great service and perhaps that is reflected in the rate. It just felt a bit too expensive. Who do you use for plumbing services?

  Help! Our main line is backed up. Water is coming up from the drains in the basement. Plumb Line can't come out until tomorrow afternoon. Does anybody know another place that is reliable, does emergency service and won't rob us blind that could possibly come out earlier?
