  Casey S. wrote: I have had nothing but EXCELLENT service from this company. They have fixed several things for me, including a dryer element, and a problem with my oven. Today they were out to look at a problem with my dishwasher. It's only 14 months old and I was mad it wasn't working correctly (especially because the warranty was only 12 months). He knew exactly what was wrong - a poorly engineered part on this particular model. He encouraged me to call the manufacturer even though it was out of warranty and see if they would send me the $200 part anyway because they had already redesigned the replacement part because it had had so many problems. He could easily have just sold me the part, and taken my $200 and I would have never have been any wiser. I called the manufacturer and they are sending me the part for free. I will call these guys EVERY TIME I need an appliance repaired.

  We used Buxton's Appliance Repair for our washer last summer. We have a Maytag, and they came out promptly and fixed it! Their number is 817-847-6553. You could call and see if they can take care of your GE.

  I'm not handy in the least! Which is why I use Buxton's appliance repair..their # is 817-847-6553. Their prices seems reasonable to me and they are very nice, so perhaps they would be willing to wave the service call charge if you asked.
