  Barb S. wrote: After going to Brimfield Vet since the late 1980's when Dr Baker owned the practice and through Dr DelValle's ownership, I will never be going back again to see the new owner of the practice, Dr Janelle Gottuso. On December 20, 2021, they charged me $97.75 for a medication I could have purchased at the Ravenna Walmart Pharmacy for $55.65, which I found out after I got home, too late to return because I had already taken it out of their office. Also, her new hours are inconvenient for many people who work, and they are only open for walk-ins on a limited basis. On the days they are open from 8 am - 5 pm, they are only available for walk-ins from 9 am - 11 am and 2 pm - 4 pm except Tuesday, when they're available for walk-ins from 2 pm - 4 pm only. Starting in 2022, they will only be available for walk-ins on two Saturdays per month (the 2nd and 4th Saturdays) from 9 am - 11 am. If your pet is ill on any other Saturday, they suggest you take them to one of the two emergency vet clinics in Akron, Medvet or Metro, so you can spend more big bucks. For example, I had to take my parrot to Metro Emergency, and they required a $600 deposit before they would see him. They also do not allow you to come into the clinic with your pet.

  A little bit of a drive for you, but I found the most amazing Vet. No appointments, just bring your pet in during clinic hours ( surgery is by appointment, though.) NEVER any up selling. And VERY reasonably priced! Brimfield Veterinarian ( near Kent off 43 on Rt 18) (330) 678-3112 I will never go anywhere else again!
