Shannon, the absolute best veterinarian in Maryland is Dr Eddie Molesworth and his awesome staff at Main Street Animal Hospital, 11617 Reisterstown Rd, Reisterstown, Md. 21136. Their phone number is 410-526-7500.
I have puppy owners who will be needing to find OFA veterinarians for OFA hips and elbows next month.
Suggestions for OFA Hip/Elbow vets in the following areas appreciated.
Baltimore area
Dallas TX area
Pittsburgh, PA area

Dr. Edward Molesworth in Reisterstown just outside of Baltimore. I've taken at least five Rottweilers to him and know many others who have also. Delores Neigh knows him very well. The number I have for him is 410-526-7500. He has one day a week that he exclusively does OFA .x-rays. A lot of breeders use him.
Vet recomendations Looking for a veterinarian who is not going to cost a fortune , anyone know of one that is reasonable with pricing and does not want to do all sorts of tests for this and that , things they really do not need.

I'm really worried about Ruby. She had a shot yesterday and is in a lot of pain. I mean serious pain. My vet is not open. Does anyone know if I can give her aspirin? She is 10.5 pounds.

Definitely no aspirin, Barrie Frazier Meister. I'd recommend calling Main Street Vet Hospital/Reisterstown 410-526-7500. A friend and fellow rescuer, Bemo Combs works there. She goes in at 2:00 today.
one of our foster dogs needs a dental cleaning (and some teeth pulled), but his first vet estimate was outrageous. does anyone have any suggestions for a vet that might be able to give us a decent...
I suggest Dr Molesworth.. they are on Reisterstown Road their Number is 410 526-7500 Lynne
The number for Main Street Vet is 410-526-7500. They are very busy, but they are real animal lovers and don't try to tack on lots of extra charges. If you go for an office visit, allow plenty of time and be prepared to wait. They have a huge waiting area with benches that the dogs can share with you so there is room for everyone. They are worth the wait. They are also available for emergencies and are even there a few hours on Sundays for emergencies. Patricia
