  *** UPDATE*** As a few of you know- she turned out to be a he. He has a fluid buildup in his abdomen. We are taking precautions to make sure he's as comfortable as possible. He doesn't seem to be into much pain, he's playful and happy. He is so sweet, loving and well behaved. We are planning on exploring every option with his health and well being. We are going to do everything financially possible to help this guy out. If anyone has any vet recommendations, or is willing to donate to help get him the help he needs, we would greatly appreciate it. We love having him here, and are willing to do anything we can.

  DHDR cannot recommend a vet for you to go to, nor inform you of the "best." However I (not speaking for DHDR) can tell you two of your better options if you feel the need to take your pup somewhere are: https://www.ahsvet.com Or http://saguarovetclinic.com Either place has a LOT of experience with cropping and posting. Hopefully that answers your actual question and gives you some thought on where to go (rather than what do do).

  Dr Richard Sotero@Saguaro Veterinary Clinic. He's a dobe expert and a few of our Doberman breeder friends recommended him to us for our dobies. We used him and I highly recommend him myself.

  I don't know anywhere in the valley that does free euthanasia, but I had to take my dog to be put down this last year and her vet is the best. They will not turn away a suffering animal, if you need to be put on a payment plan you can. Call them and ask for the nurse there, Carol. She is a very sweet and understanding lady who did the same thing for me when I needed to for my dog. I even got her ashes back and didn't have to pay upfront. they are a great clinic. http://saguarovetclinic.com/
