  From Ashley Rael Hi my name is Ashley i am 23 i live in Denver Colorado and about 6 weeks pregnant with my second i had a terrible hospital birth with my first and i really want to do a more natural birth with a dula or midwife like a water birth or something i don't no where to look i have medicaid insurance and i can get any natural midwife places to accept me i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find someone to help me do this it would be greatly appreciated thanks so much for any help or advice

  Yes!! The midwives at univ of colo anshuitz campus have a beautiful water birth center, completely covered by medicaid! Center for midwifery 720-848-1700 ...its around 14 th and colfax 1635 Aurora Ct, Aurora, CO... a really great facility and team of midwives and nurses... I also know an amazing Doula in the area , or u can just look submit a request on the affordable doula network http://affordabledoulanetwork.org/

  If you're wanting a water birth you can check out center for midwifery at university. They will sometimes accept Medicaid. Otherwise University nurse Midwives will. It's a great place to start and you can talk to them about what you want.
