Thanks!Pattie B. replied:softpaws.com i used these on my dog to stop her scratching herself due to allergies until we found the source of her allergies. they have to be reapplied every so often, but could be a great solution for you. i would also suggest making sure he gets plenty of exercise. make him chase a toy until he is literally panting. feed him from food puzzles and toys to keep him mentally occupied during the day. Watch the show on Animal Planet called My Cat From Hell. they show how to deal with all types of behavioral problems in a positive way. Good luck, and just ignore the trolls. Most of us just want to help.

It allows the cats to be able to stretch their paws naturally and comfortably without the hassle of worrying about furniture or kids getting scratched up. They don't harm the cats at all and are fairly easy to put on. They also last for several weeks at a time and 40 come in a box that's only about $18 on their website but can be purchased cheaper on other websites like Amazon. Just a helpful alternative for anyone interested.

Otherwise, Kirkton has a great veterinary clinic! However, declawing a cat isn't recommended- since it is an extremely painful procedure. It's called soft paws. You can get them on amazon, or on their website. Softpaws.com Basically, they are caps for the claws. You put a drop of glue (provided) into the cap, the stick it over the claw. They come in a variety of colors. It's like a kitty manicure. I chose this option the last time I had a cat. I had no regrets.
