  Does anyone know any information about a program though the school district called Early Steps? From my understanding, its a program that helps underdeveloped children with their speech. I have tried to call but I guess I keep missing them. Does anyone have a child that is currently or has previously went though this? Apparently they will visit your home or daycare as well...

  You have to call the school board and set up an appointment for the testing. My son is going through it. Here is the number and extension to call 3372174300 ext 3695

  If early steps will not take you, you can go through the school board and get an early pre-k evaluation. That's who I was referred to by early steps. We just had our initial evaluation and they were so wonderful. Their number is 337-217-4300. That's who I would suggest you try first!
