If early steps will not take you, you can go through the school board and get an early pre-k evaluation. That's who I was referred to by early steps. We just had our initial evaluation and they were so wonderful. Their number is 337-217-4300. That's who I would suggest you try first!

It cuts off at 3 years old and if they do not have more issues then just a speech delay they will not qualify. I tried to go through them but the only problem my son had was speech delay. Call Calcasieu school board they can help. Talk to Ms Sandy Sanders.
