  Merry Christmas fellow trail riders , I am a part timer up here in the valley and bring my 4 dogs when I am up. My primary home is 2 1/2 hrs away. So my regular vet is out of the question .Would love some suggestions on a vet for my dogs and also who you use on your equines, My pug had a little issue with his IBS this last trip up and I was worried the whole 3 days.   Elise Rubin for horses. She lives in BVS (805) 708-5022. She's awesome!! For my dogs I use Dr. Beverly +1 (661) 823-8381. She's a little bit further away, but I refuse to use the Tehachapi Vet Hospital. They were horrendous. :)

  We also use Dr Beverly ( Billingsley Animal Clinic) http://www.horseappleranch.com/ for all our animals, goats, horses, dogs, cats. She is the only vet in Tehachapi available for emergencies 24/7 and she makes ranch calls.... we love her!.
