Moved into a place and when shown multiple horrible issues with the place I was notified ‘It’s not a palace and it won’t get fixed.’ ‘This is an old property’ they said. There were multiple windows with holes in them. Windows with no screens. And the window unit was removed for the virtual tour which was misleading. I had ac selected as a requirement on trulia and somehow this place with 0 ac, popped up as an option. Luckily the landlords made a huge error in the lease stating I wouldn’t have to pay for internet, water, trash, etc so I was able to get out of my horrible lease. Additionally my bf met the guy who rented the garage (on the property I was renting -instead of the actual tenant getting it) and he told him about how the gutters were broken and water damaged all of his things. Instead of the landlords being sympathetic they blamed the awful garage being old and faulty on him. This guys also told us that the downstairs tenant who rents the basement got blamed for flooding (from rain/snow leaking in) on him. The only good thing was Teresa refunded our deposit very quickly. I wouldn’t recommend this management company to anyone unless you want to blamed for any damage resulting from the old property with 0 modern updates.
