Bray Humpty Dumpty Playgroup runs every Thursday in the Epworth Hall on Florence Road, Bray 10:30-12:00. Welcoming all pre-school ages, it is a great place for babies to watch the business of the world around them and for toddlers to explore, share and play. As someone rightly pointed out 'Play is the greatest research'. The format of the group is usually freeplay and meet/great, followed by occasional activities for toddlers (sticking, playdough, sensory boxes, colouring, paints :), or other development nourishing messy business). In our group we keep 'Healthy Snack Policy' and kids are always offered fresh fruit. All is followed by clean up and ever popular singing and parachute fun. The group is also a great opportunity for parents to meet and support each other and get valuable local knowledge!Cup of tea & coffee available, and if you're lucky there may be some fresh home baked goodies too.
Cuidiú is a voluntary parent- to parent support group. Our Humpty Dumpty play group is under the North Wicklow branch umbrella of this national organisation, providing local support and run by local volunteers. This includes baby and toddler groups, breastfeeding support and antenatal classes, pediatric first aid courses, parenting talks, etc.
We are always delighted to see new members and support new ideas. So if you would like to run an event or join the committee please contact us!
All groups are €2 for members or €4.50 for non members.
