  OK fb friends I need some advice. Olivia was kicked in the knee at soccer 2 weeks ago. The swelling is finally down, but she still has pain and popping in her knee. We went to a Dr that was recommended by friends. He said rest and was swollen bursa sac. We have been going to our chiropractor and it is a little better. The trainer at school keeps telling her to get a second opinion that she thinks it could be her meniscus. Does anyone know of anyone good to take her to? Thanks!

  Any recommendations for good orthopedic surgeons, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't care where I have to fly her, drive her or take her but I want her to have the best care so her leg heals correctly and this pain stops. Her bones are still moving around with movement and not staying where they need to so surgery appears to be the next step. The physician recommended she see a pediatric ortho physician. Timing is crucial, like in the next week so her leg doesn't heal to much in the wrong way. If anyone knows of good pediatric ortho physicians from experience, please let me know. THANK YOU!!!!!

  Dr gruziak in Pittsburgh. We went to Childrens North but he has another office too. We used him for Bronson many many times including when he broke his kneecap. He never had to have surgery but he was great. He was one of the surgeons that inspired Bronson to become a surgeon. I think Bronson was even communicating with him not too long ago through email. 412 692 5530 in case you need the number. Not sure how far this is for you.
