  Decided to quit wasting time on making so-so beer and gear up a bit. I got a stir-plate and the STC-1000 controller. Looking to get a Ernmyler Flask (2000 ml, yes?) and wondering what is best - a Brew Belt or the flex-wrap stuff for heating my carboy? I'll also be picking up an air pump (for aerating wort) and a mini fridge in the next few days as well. Suggestions on where and what to get the other stuff would be welcome.

  Thanks for the info Ari, I'll look into the 1 gallon cider bottle for sure- never thought of that. Also the Oxygen bottle! I order the stir plate already, as it was only 50 shipped and has a lifetime warranty (stirstarters.com). Though maybe down the road I'll make my own and sell the bought one. As for a full sized fridge, I like the idea, I just don't have much room.
