  Does anyone have any old photos of the first block of S. Beach St. between Volusia/ISB and Kress? I'm looking for the 1930s-1950s time frame. I have seen a few of S. Beach, but most are looking north from Orange Ave and it's too hard to see the buildings. I have one with Kress and the shoe store next to it (from group 1) but need just a little farther north if possible. I am going to try to check out the old yearbooks tomorrow if I have time, but if anyone has one or knows where I can find one, that would be great.

  If anyone is interested in MHS yearbooks, most of them are online at the school's site. www.mainlandhighschool.org. Click on "Alumni" and look for the link for online yearbooks. Nancy Marsh Szantos, class of '57, undertook a major project by digitizing them all and getting them on the site, which is great!

  Kim E Dolce, I have a 1952 Mainland High School year book. Are you looking for anything in particular in that stretch of Beach St.? I might remember a few of those old stores.

  Does anyone know where I can find yearbooks from early 90s? Just wanna look thru them, preferably online maybe, I hate to admit it but I'm having a hard time remembering some people so I thought if I saw the high school pics it would help. Thanks, any help would be great.

  They're online now. Just go to MSHS website (http://www.mainlandhighschool.org/), and click on the Alumni tab. Link for Online Yearbooks is on the right.
