There are so many great charities here. If you are still looking for a charity, we are collecting goods, food, clothes...etc. for homeless families at a local High School. These are local families in need. Anyone can drop stuff off at Ocean Deck. We collect food and goods every year to benefit local needs! www.oceandeck.com

Before this year we had supported Toys for Tots but they changed the structure of that organization and we decided to focus on needy families in the Holly Hill area. Our group was formerly known as Bikers for First Amendment Rights (BFFAR). https://www.facebook.com/events/143561716290779/?ti=cl

Does anyone have any old photos of the first block of S. Beach St. between Volusia/ISB and Kress? I'm looking for the 1930s-1950s time frame. I have seen a few of S....

Hi Betty Heck. Hopefully this link will work. Someone is looking for an older photo with this pink building in it, the one between Scuttle Butts and Wig Villa. Not sure what it was previously. If you happen to find one and can email me at kdolce@volusia.org, that would be great. We have many MHS yearbooks, although not all. If I have the year (if you find one) I can see if we have it. I looked through ALL the photos here in group two but didn't see one that covers the right area.

Kim E. Kim E Dolce, of course the map showed a modern picture. Let's see. In the 50's there was an upscale shoes and luggage shop, The Smart Shop (dresses), Linden Vogue, perhaps a fancy shop that sold art work, jewelry, imported accoutrements. Other older IGUIDB members will remember others or correct mine. I believe the Magic Shop was always there, Kress and McCrory's. Perhaps that helps a little bit. Harry Smith or Linda will be all over this.
