  If you're just one or two people I would get a megabus or national express that far, Dundee to Edinburgh is £100 by taxi. (Before the lockdown) I usually called 01382 825 825, Tele Taxis. Sometimes they would have someone available for long journies, other times they would give a number to you and you'd eventually get a taxi accepting the journey. I used them mainly for late night short journies though.
