Local Deteoiter Need Help Finding Specific Herb! Hello! Mobile. Excuse poor yadda yadda.
I am a serious herb and tea enthusiast and am trying to find a store or outdoor place to find my own, wild garlic!
I have been able to find ramps at certain times at Eastern Market, but they sell so quickly and can be quite pricey, it's hard to have a steady supply when you just get that urge to make pesto!
I am one of those crazies who will drive quite far just to find a new restaurant or new store, so location does not matter!
I have been to a few stores in Ann Arbor but still cannot find quite what I am looking for.... I am desperate! I am honestly only looking for a small bunch (only cooking for 2) so endangering the species more is not my intention!
If anyone can please help me, or even just recommend some new places I'd be very much appreciative!!!
I love to cook with ramps, but since they're no longer in season I can't get them now. Also I live in Georgia, which obviously makes it harder. Does anyone know a place I can get them? Like, where do restaurants get ramps?
