  A very good friend of mine's house recently burned down this week. She and her family lost their home. Unfortunately it was a rental, and they did not have renter's insurance. The most disturbing thing about this tragedy is that their landlords padlocked their house and went through their belongings in their absence, claiming many of my friends' items as their own for their [fraudulent] insurance claims. My friends were only given access to the house this past Sunday for 6 hours to remove ALL of their belongings (from a 3-storey house). Their landlords never asked them if they were all right, but they were quick to take what wasn't theirs. I am beyond appalled and would like to bring these sleazy people to justice, so if you know of a good lawyer, please message me. Thank you.
