  Honest HVAC Company? Can someone recommend an HVAC company/person that won't try and rip you off? I bought a house, and I'd like to get the system checked out before winter, primarily an older furnace, and I don't want a place that will just try and sell me maintenance plans or say it is an older furnace therefore it must be replaced. I'm certainly prepared to replace it if necessary, but obviously want an honest assessment of its condition first. Most of the system has been replaced in the past 5 years, so I'm hoping the furnace was given a once over a few times recently and left because it didn't need replacement...not because the former owners were rolling the dice.

  Oasis Heating & Cooling http://www.oasiscooling.com/ They did an amazing job repairing the HVAC system when we moved into our house 6 years ago. Former owners never did any maintenance or proper filter use. When we replaced the system, we used Oasis too. Fully explained and discussed options and never felt any pressure. When we do regular maintenance, we see the same guys which is always nice.

  For the last 5 years we have used AAA/Oasis at 703 339-3877. We request Joel each time and we have been very pleased. We pay a yearly fee and it takes care of the fall visit for the heater and spring visit for air. We found it to be more reasonable than paying for two separate trips. Joe & Myra Ashor
