ISO pet sitter. Any recommendations? I'd prefer someone trusted to just stay at our home and care for our pets while we're gone in late July? We have 1 guinea pig, and 3 mini schnauzers. Toby is the boy guinea pig. He needs to be watered and fed daily...every other day scoop out the wet litter under his water bottle (he's a bugger and likes to make all the water come out of his bottle into his cage), then add new stuff, add some hay, some fresh lettuce or carrots from the fridge a few times a week. Maggie is a petite 15 lb salt and pepper mini schnauzer, a bit skittish, but a cuddle bug once she gets to know you, she's 6. Albus is also 6 and is a silver (white) mini schnauzer, yippy, but a good, kind of goofy dog. Scottie is a 15 y/o mini schnauzer, old, cranky, DDD (bad back), missing lots of teeth...he takes getting used to (him to you and you to him), he's bitten 3 times in his 15 years, but will attack a stranger if they try to enter our home. We have 2 house plants to water weekly, no outdoor gardens to water. Dogs are fed in the AM only (as per vet), no meds, run outside in our back fenced in yard to potty (no doggie bomb pick up duty necessary). I'm willing to pay $300 for 10 days, would prefer at least three visits a day to feed, water, exercise dogs (in back yard, no leash walking necessary)....but 2 would be okay, you'd just have pee and poop to clean up off the floor if only 2 visits a day. It'd get stinky fast. No kids or teens unless an adult is present, please. If you have a recommendation for a licensed, bonded, insured pet sitter locally, I'd love to hear from you! I strongly prefer someone I know or someone you know and can vouch for personally...after all, I'd be letting them into our home, yk? (Located in Cumming)
