Can anybody recommend a pet boarding facility that does not leave pets alone for 12+ hours overnight? I'm just very uneasy about them being alone from 6pm-6am.

My business is https://www.facebook.com/1626800700947600 Peach on a Leash Dog Training & Behavior Services - I do board & train in my home, and each day includes at least 3 structured training sessions and a nature walk. I'm in Cumming just off exit 13 ☺️

I heartily recommend my petsitter, Debbie Warden. She's just started Snuggles and Wags, formerly with Fetch. She's been taking care of my four fur babies for about a year and a half now. When I go out of town, my dogs stay comfortably at home. Rates are competitive too. Give her a call at 678-643-1589.

Bones: Bed, Bath, Biscuits & More in Ball Ground is phenomenal. Sandy and Johnny live onsite and have "suites" for their guests plus lots of outdoor playtime. It's the only place that I trust with my two dogs. https://www.facebook.com/Bones-Bed-Bath-Biscuits-More-LLC-204545512895558/

Sounds like a great job for a college kid. Wonder if North GA or Lanier Tech has a job board.

Hannah Garrison, regardless of whom you hire to take care of your pets, please verify that they are legally operating a business (have a Forsyth County business license) and are bonded, insured, have a clean criminal background check and are trained in pet first aid/CPR. And ask for proof of the above credentials. Hiring someone without the above qualifications is a recipe for disaster. Trust me. I would be happy to assist you in locating a qualified professional pet sitter that you may contact. If you can send me a private message and let me know where in Forsyth County you are located, I can let you know the professional sitters who cover your area. If you are looking for someone to come to your home to take care of your pets, you are looking at a rate of around $18-$20 for a 30-minute visit for a professional pet sitter. Please remember that you get what you pay for. We are bonded and insured for a reason. Your pets deserve the best. I am the sole proprietor of Goin' to the Dogs Pet Sitting in Cumming (www.gointothedogsga.com). I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding how to go about hiring the most qualified person to take care of your pets in your absence. If you decide to go the route of a doggy daycare, we have a lot of very good facilities in Forsyth County to choose from. Make sure to visit the facility and ask lots of questions. (One important question to ask any pet-care provider who will also be taking care of other dogs while taking care of yours is how they are handling the dog flu issue that we're currently dealing with.) I am happy to help you make the best decision possible.

I don't know if you mean going away or just for the day but barkfield Inn & Suites sounds like a hotel I know but they're down off Highway 9 or Atlanta Highway but they're great that's out of that we've had for ever he owns it they have doggie daycare and they all said above that second seay and Dr Rob sanfilipo and Doggy Daycare they have and they also have boarding which me 30 to $40 depending on which one you choose night and Appalachian great dogs play all day they have like a covered thing out out in their back and a special Turf for the dogs so they don't get too hot when it's summertime and it's an awesome place I don't know anything better that has both so hopefully that helps you
