  I am at a total loss right now. Our cat Frankie will not stop peeing and pooing on our couches. We have thrown out a full couch and 2 brand new arm chairs, and now our last couch is being ruined on a daily basis. We took him to the vet, he had bloodwork, a urinalysis and a full exam done, he is in perfect health. I have plug-in pheromone diffusers that cover the whole house to keep the cats calm and stress free. We have altered his diet as per Dr recommendations, we have a crazy expensive robot litterbox that provides always clean litter (and he has no problems using it). As for the couch, we tried covering it with tin foil, garbage bags, putting the cat kibble there so they won't pee where they eat, tried all kinds of enzymatic cleaners. Nothing is working and I find myself starting to hate my cat. I feel terrible but he is honestly ruining our lives. Any home we have moved to smells like cat piss no matter how hard we try to keep it clean. If anybody has any suggestions, anything at all, I am very desperate and am ready to order 7 couch covers, 1 for each day of the week and just do laundry every day. This is not a good solution.
