  Dog behaviorist/trainers in Auckland. Not sure if this is allowed but gonna give it a go. My partner and I have recently taken ownership over a little 5kg dog (Male/2 years old) from a acquaintance that gave up on him. He has barking issues mainly towards strangers/other dogs/random noises, lunges ahead while on walks, and has separation anxieties. My partner has had 2 dogs before but none of them were as hard to train as our current dog. We know this is due to the previous owner not training him correctly while the dog was still a puppy and the lack of attention/love the previous owner gave to the dog. So we are looking for a dog behaviorist/trainer within the auckland region, mainly 1 on 1 visits at home. We want to go with word of mouth/recommendations before resorting to google. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

My mum has a 6 month old leonberger, has done basic puppy school but now needs more one on one help with keeping her under control - excitable around other dogs, and at 40kg and still growing she wants to make sure she can keep her safe!   Our 3 year old Affenpinscher Boy who is having problems with his behavior! 2 main things, 1st he barks at all noises at home! There is a cat next door that attacks our cat so he is always in the garden patrolling for the cat but has extended to the whole house now and driving us crazy! Second problem is that he has now decided he doesn’t like strangers. People coming into our home he will warm up to eventually(at least half hour of them ignoring him) but has extended it to the park now and anyone that is there when we get there and anyone who arrives, even if it is the same people every night he barks and howls if goes near them/them near him! He has always had anxiety problems and in the last 18 months has got so much better but in the last 2 months has spiraled again! We have had him off the furniture and sleeping back in his create! Any help/tips would be AMAZING! We would love to meet with a trainer early next year to get the best advice so any recommendations on trainers would also be great!
