  Today I found Maxi Foods supermarket in Ballarat. They give free coffee, beautiful coffee from Castlemaines Coffee Basics. What a lovely gesture to offer a quality cup of coffee to your customers. If you haven't checked it out, you should, its so much better than Coles or Woolies and if you are a foodie, they sell heaps of supplies you would never find in one of the big two. I will still have to shop at Coles,Daylesford for my work. But my personal shop will be there and Tonnas. Fingers and Toes crossed they open up in our town, the owner really seems to get it and it has the best vibe of any supermarket I have ever been in, There was a feeling of happy staff which is often lacking in our local supermarket, one gets the idea they might be treated with respect by management. I would add that my comments are not aimed at Coles staff, they do their best with a huge conglomeration company.

  Aren't there two spaces now in Daylesford? The old IGA (surely it can't be that hard to fix a floor) and the Rex (which is next to empty). Either location would make a great Maxi Foods!
