I want movers just for a few larhe items (sofa, desks, and dining table) most of the quotes I have gotten are for $150/hr plus travel time... And they are estimating it will take 5hrs. Does anyone know of a cheaper option? Can I just rent a truck and hire people just to move my bulky stuff up the stairs for 1hr?

They helped make sure all my furniture was exactly where I wanted it and even helped me put my bed together! They made sure nothing was damaged even though they didn't load the truck
