About us
With over 20 years experience in the Hair and Beauty Sector my journey started in my early teens working for a local hairdresser as a Saturday girl and in the school holidays. After some travelling and settling down to have a family I worked as a Manager for The Body Shop @ Home for 8 years. The company was great and we received regular CPD and skin care/makeup training. In 2003 I was one of top 50 consultants in the country and was invited to dine with and spend the day at Anita Roddick's house in Little Hampton, an experience and achievement I will never forgot! I have completed short makeup courses, such as Makeup for all occasions and last year I trained with Pixiwoo on their intensive week long course. On this course I learnt lots of techniques and in particular bridal, drag, period and evening makeup. I love to learn and hope to add lots more training to my CV. On completion of the Pixiwoo training I decided to specialise in Bridal and Occasion makeup and hair. In the past year I have seen my business grow very quickly and I am so lucky to do a job I love and receive so much satisfaction from. Making people over, giving them confidence and making them feel good is my passion.
I have been teaching at a local high school since 2006. I plan, deliver and assess The City and Guilds level 1 course In an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector to 14-16 year old. I love teaching and hope to develop this side of my business this year with 1-2-1 lessons and group workshops for teens and adults.
I use all high end, professional products and equipment such as MAC, Illamasqua, Clinique, Kryolan, TIGI, Babyliss and GHD. My prices include travel (within a 15 mile radius), insurance, all products/equipment and lashes of your choice.
Please have clean dry hair and/or a freshly cleansed face prior to your appointment and I will do the rest :) x
