About us

We are a mother and daughter team, from the Ottawa Valley, that have been making soap since 2009. We wanted a soap that wouldn't leave our skin dry in the cold, dry Canadian winters. We found that our handmade soap left our skin soft and moisturized and it was fun to make. We were so happy with the results that we shared our products with some of our close friends and family. We were surprised with the stories that came back to us not only about how they were fantastic for normal skin but that they had cleared up acne for one person or psoriasis for another. With such positive and inspiring feedback we decided to start a business, and Sumptuous Suds was born.
