  There is no one in this area who is qualified to care for birds - especially large birds. Your best bet is Pet Care in Virginia Beach. It's about a 1 1/2 hour drive, but trust me, it is worth it for your birds sake. They are highly qualified and have an avian vet on staff. 757-473-0111

  Pet Care 757-473-0111 also offered lots of tips on training, manners, behavior and diet. They gave us a booklet they had written and lots of free food samples. It was a drive, but their expertise was worth it. The vet took about an hour with us and the tech hung out for about 15 more minutes giving us more advice (she has 3 birds).
