  SUMMERTIME BBQ'in Judging by the heat outside, it's clearly summertime and that means lots of BBQing over hot coals is happening over the next couple months. BBQ ribs, briskets, chickens and burgers slathered in brown sauce is served around town, from the ridiculous Flanigan's ribs to Pride & Joy's solid burnt ends. So where do you get your BBQ? Are there any non-BBQ restaurants that have surprise menu items like smoky ribs that are home runs?

  If you're en route to the keys or fruit picking in homestead, I HIGHLY suggest Shiver's... It's that old school delicious bbq joint that I believe shorty's once was and The Pit on the way to the Everglades.
